To The Team!
I
am very proud of the accomplishment that you have all achieved!
With the exception of a few players I have been involved with this
team for nearly 9 years. We have had some great memories and some
not so good memories, good times and argumentative times,
personalities and characters, goals and dreams and don’t forget
promotions and relegations. What I remember most is the dedication
and commitment of this year’s team. One where no one person was
above the rest, one where you all came together for one goal, WIN
THE DIVISION and advance. Although I sometimes don’t say it, it has
been a privilege to coach such a fun and dedicated team. We lost
some games this year and sometimes played like a team in last place,
but I saw the look on your faces was one of focus. I never thought
you would lose. From starters to the bench, you all played
unbelievable, each doing their job some smaller then others but yet
all striving for the same goal. I’m sure there will be more
memories to be had. One will be the leagues presentation of the
trophy to our own Marshall Quinn (sorry it was a year late).
Marshall, I thank you for asking me to play so many years ago and
letting me be a part of this team. I don’t think we would be here
without your spark. Louis T, I thank you for showing up late so
that I could start and score my first goal over 30 and the rest of
you guy’s thanks.
So boys, it’s now time to enjoy what you have accomplished. But
remember one thing next season “I WANT THE FUCKING TROPHY” so you
better come with the same shit as this year or else!!!
